Terms & Conditions

Last updated: June 3, 2026

1. Who we are

Unison ("Unison", "we", "us") is a service operated by Stack On The Future LLC. By accessing or using Unison you ("you", "user") agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The service

Unison is a music-sharing social platform that lets users upload, share, discover, and discuss audio, build playlists, and participate in communities. Features, pricing tiers, and limits may change over time.

3. Account & authority

You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction (or have your guardian's consent) to use Unison. If you are using the service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use Unison for any unlawful, fraudulent, harassing, or abusive purpose;
  • upload or share content you do not have the rights to;
  • infringe any intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights;
  • upload malware, attempt to probe, scan, or breach our security;
  • scrape the service or interfere with its normal operation;
  • resell, sublicense, or redistribute the service without consent.

5. Intellectual property

Unison, including its software, design, branding, and documentation, is owned by Stack On The Future LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of content you upload, and you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, reproduce, and display that content solely to operate and provide the service.

6. Service availability

We do our best to keep Unison available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Features may be added, changed, or removed at any time.

7. Payments, subscriptions & billing

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, currency, tax, subscription renewal, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms.

Paid Unison subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time from your billing page or via paddle.net.

8. Refunds

See our Refund Policy for details.

9. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Unison, with or without notice, for: material breach of these terms, non-payment, suspected fraud or security risk, or repeated or serious violations of our policies. You may stop using the service at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the service ends; we may delete your content after a reasonable period.

10. Disclaimers & liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Unison is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stack On The Future LLC's aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the service shall not exceed the fees you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, special, incidental, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where it cannot be limited by law.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Stack On The Future LLC harmless from any claim arising out of content you submit, your use of the service, or your violation of these terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Stack On The Future LLC is established, without regard to conflict of laws rules.

13. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Unison after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
